Psa 91:1 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
There is a call that is considered an emergency call, the 911 call. Emergencies where injuries, abuses, life threatening situations etc are attended to urgently. Christians too have Psa 91:1 (911), a secret dwelling place and “pray to your Father who sees in the secret place and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly”(Mat 6:33). In this secret place we abide (remain) under the shadow of the Almighty. His shadow is a assurance of His nearness.
Joh 15:7 “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you”. The condition of this blessed promise is that we abide, dwell in the Vine. Prayer is the means by which the word of Christ takes root (abides, dwells) in our hearts. Faith comes by hearing and hearing of the word of God. Prayers lays and establishes the foundation by which these two are secured. He that by faith chooses God for his protector, speaks these words with confidence.
