Jesus In Every Page

Luk 24:27 And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning Himself.

There is a difference between preaching about self and preaching to self. Narcissism means making things about self which has become the order of the day. A pastor, TV preacher, worships songs that make each biblical narratives about self has robbed the text of its meaning, focus and power.

To the two men on the road to Emmaus, they were walking very discouraged in the light of the recent events. You would think that in their state, Jesus would join them and to talk to them about them. That was not the case, Jesus began with Moses (Pentateuch) and all the prophets and preached to them concerning Himself for He is the main character in the entire bible. Heb 10:7Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come to do your will, O God, as it is written of Me in the scroll of the book.’“, this is Jesus in every page. Every story is either pointing to Jesus directly or indirectly. Jesus is God’s centered plan not man. Man is the beneficiary of the obedience of Christ, and His supporting cast in His movie (story). Is Jesus the main character of your life or you?
