He Has Magnified His Word, Psalm 138:2

Justified In The Spirit

1Tim 3:14-16, 16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world

Pillar number 2. Justified in the Spirit: Christ was conceived and publically declared to be the Son of God by the Spirit (Mat 3:17, 12:18, 17:5). He was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted (Luk 4, Mar 1, Mat 4). He was anointed by the Holy Spirit to accomplish His work (Luk 4:18, Acts 10:38). Though reproached as a sinner, and put to death, Christ was raised again by the Spirit, and was justified from all the false charges.

In summary, Jesus Christ totally depended on the ministry of the Holy Spirit for conception, identification, leading, power and resurrection. Christ, while “in the flesh,” seemed to be just such a one as men in the flesh, and in fact bore our sins when He died to sin and rose again. He was (is) the just and the justifier of those being saved. All of God’s work must be done by God’s Spirit.
