He Has Magnified His Word, Psalm 138:2

Take It To The Lord In Prayer

Isa 37:1-15, 14 And Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it; and Hezekiah went up to the house of the LORD, and spread it before the LORD 15 And Hezekiah prayed to the LORD:

King Hezekiah was bullied by king of Assyria, a powerful kingdom that subdued nations. Judah kingdom was protected by God but that did not stop Assyria from threatening and defying God’s people by fears and intimidations. Their threat is earlier noted in Isa 37:10 “Do not let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying, “Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria”. The threat and fear was to derail them from trusting God. Upon receiving the letter, Hezekiah went straight to the house of God, spread it before God in prayer.

This is how we should deal with threats, fears, intimidations from Satan, submit, spread the attacks before the Lord in prayers like Hezekiah did, God takes delight in fighting for His people. 2Ch 16:9 “For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him…” (NKJV).
