Psa 37:6 He will bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noonday.
God fights and defends His people, this is something we easily tend to forget. When you have confidence and commitment to God, you move to a position of being defended by God. Miriam and Aaron brought an accusation against Moses because he married an Ethiopian woman. God defended Moses’ honor and had harsh words against his accusers (Num 12).God bragged to Satan of His servant Job, that he was blameless and no one was like him on earth (Job 1:8).
If we take care to keep a good conscience, we may leave it to God to take care of our good name. Your good name is a reflection of His work in you, the way of character and integrity. This is also the way of vindication, Pro 16:7 ”When a man’s ways please the LORD, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.” Psa 90:17 “Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands upon us; yes, establish the work of our hands!”
