He Has Magnified His Word, Psalm 138:2

The Providence In Prayer, Part 1

Mat 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread

This vs gives the thought of daily prayers for necessities such as food. This point addresses two things of relying in the same word. 1. “our daily bread” is God’s word. Mat 4:4 “… “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread (physical) alone, but by every word (spiritual bread) that proceeds from the mouth of God”.; Joh 6:57-58 “… he who feeds on Me will live because of Me. 58 This is the bread which came down from heaven… He is the word (Joh 1), and His word is about Him. Heb 10:7 “Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come—In the volume of the book it is written of Me—To do Your will, O God.’”

To desire to know Him is to desire His word. 1Pet 2:2As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby; Job 23:12I have not departed from the commandment of His lips; I have treasured the words of His mouth More than my necessary food”; 2Tim 2:15 “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth”. His word gives correct teaching and understanding of who He is and how to love and serve Him. What we pray for first determines what we desire the most. Just as we need natural food for sustenance, we need spiritual food for spiritual sustenance. In this prayer point, He gives food and the appetite for it.
