Eph 4:32 And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.
God will not ask us to do what He has not already done for mankind. The only one major difference, He aides us to do what He calls us to. What He has commanded, kindness, tenderhearted, forgiveness is all He has provided in the gospel of His Son Jesus Christ.
God has shown Himself “kind, tender-hearted, and forgiving to you”; and you in turn shall be the same to your fellow men. Think on this, no one has wronged you more than you have wronged God, yet He has been to you what He asks you concerning your fellow men. It cost God the death of His Son, as man, to forgive us. It costs us nothing to forgive our fellow men, the step is for us to drop the charges, let go and let God. Pro 19:11 “The discretion of a man makes him slow to anger, And his glory is to overlook a transgression.“
Kindness wishes well to all men, prays for their joy, and studies to promote their interest. Love is kind. This is one of the most comprehensive and beautiful summaries of the Christian life, it is practical Christianity. It furnishes an admirable rule for self-examination in order to progress in the life of God. We must pursue and continue to grow in these areas as our demonstration of our love for God and our fellow men.
