He Has Magnified His Word, Psalm 138:2

To Him Who Is Able

Jud 1:24 Now unto Him who is able to keep you from falling, and present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy

The opposite of the word “able” is “disable” and we know that anyone who is disabled cannot function fully depending on their disability. We also know that when we use the word “disable” it can also mean “disconnect”. Our God is not in a dysfunctional neither is He disconnected from His children.

God is able by Himself and willing to keep each of us from falling and failing, then present us faultless despite all our faults before His presence with exceeding joy. David invited disabled Mephibosheth to his table to dine with him daily. In our disabilities He displays His abilities as treasures. 2Cor 4:7 “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us”. Christ is able to keep, and when at last we are presented by Him to the Father, we shall realize how He aided us and how much we owe Him.
