Peace With God

Rom 5:1 “Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,” Jam 4:4, “…Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God”.

The world seeks peace that is impossible apart from God. Sin is the enemy of peace. It breeds the quarrel between us and God. It puts us at war with the Creator and makes us enemies of God. The Holy Righteous God cannot in honor be at peace with a sinner while he continues in rebellion, under the guilt of sin. He who refuses to bow his knees in repentance and faith, is declaring that he is good enough to save himself.

Justification is what we all need. It is the means by which guilt is taken away, and so makes way for peace. If you are not saved, you are not at peace with God and you will not have the benefits of (Peace Of God and Peace In God). You must go to Moses (the law) and examine yourself in the mirror of the laws of God and see how you’ve offended God in word, thoughts, and deeds. But don’t remain there, turn to the Lord in humility, repent and believe the gospel. The gospel carries with it the omnipotence of God, whose power alone is sufficient to save men from sin and give them eternal life, that is how God saves. Tit 3:5, “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost”

Hallelujah my brother. Encouraged and reminded I’m clothed with Christ, His perfect law keeping righteousness is mine by faith alone and even my faith is a gracious gift. Christ fulfilled the demands of the law in respect to keeping it and taking on Himself the penalty for our disobedience of it. Double fold obedience unto us, credited to our eternal account, justifying us. Hallelujah. We have on His Robe of Righteousness (Isaiah 61:10) You encouraged me more to look to our Prince of Peace Who bore all our sin and it pleased the Father to let loose His righteous anger on our sin in Christ, crushing us or crucifying us with Christ granting us peace with and in God in regards to His wrath (Propitiation)
I’ll leave you with this since me and your dad like playing with words and using acronyms:
GRACE
Gods Riches At Christ’s Expense
PEACE
Propitiation Eternalized At Christ’s Expense
Love you brother ❤️
