He Has Magnified His Word, Psalm 138:2

The Priority Of Prayer, Part 1

Mat 6:9-15, 10…your kingdom come,
Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness

Praying effectively has little to do with ABILITY, and everything to do with AVAILABILITY. A guitar cannot tune itself and play its own tune unless it is placed in able, skillful hands to tune it before playing in harmony sweet orderly music filling the air. Note that the making, tuning and playing is credited to able hands. The same with us, when we avail ourselves to pray, our kingdom is invaded by His kingdom through the Holy Spirit. He takes over to tune and play His own tune of prayer how best He wants God gloried through His chosen vessels, (Rom 8:26).

The priority of prayer isYour Kingdom come”. The kingdom of God is NOT centered on Happiness but Righteousness, Peace and Joy in the Holy Ghost (Rom 14:17). God is more after our spiritual growth than pampering us with material and physical things, (Rom 12:1). Seek first the kingdom of God is the priority. His drive is to conform us to the IMAGE of Christ (Phil 3:10, 2Cor 3:17-18). To become IMITATORS of Christ (Eph 5:1), and have the MIND of Christ (Phi 2:5). The kingdom of God is about OWNERSHIP, It is GOSPEL centered, (Mark 1:15, Rom 14:7-9). The Gospel is about righteousness (Rom 1:16-17). To be made righteous means to be made in the right standing order with God, (2Cor 5:21). Therefore we must pray to be kingdom minded.
